Sākumā Lestenes muižas pils bijusi poļu pulkveža Georga Firksa pēcnācēju īpašums. 1920. gadā par muižas īpašnieku kļuva barons Pauls Firkss, bet 1922. gadā viņš pagasta sabiedrībai atdeva klēti labības krājumu novietošanai. Savukārt 1934. gadā kungu māju ieguva Latvijas armijas ģenerālis Mārtiņš Hartmanis. Atjaunotās Latvijas Republikas laikā īpašumu atguva ģenerāļa Hartmaņa meita dzejniece Astrīda Ivaska. Pie muižas ir 4ha liels parks, kurā sastopami vairāku svešzemju koku un krūmu stādījumi. Muižas komplekss sastāvā bija kungu mājas (pils), klēts, zirgu stallis. Šobrīd ir saglabājusies kungu māja un klēts. Muižas ēkai ir 3 stāvi - pagrabstāvs ar velvēm un 2 virszemes stāvi. Zeme, ieskaitot 4ha parku, aizņem 18 ha.
